AN INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

With its open outlook on the world, the Auvergne has ensured that it is well-equipped to embrace international contacts.

CAVILAM (Centre for Modern Approaches to Language and Media) An association created by the Universities of Clermont-Ferrand and the town of Vichy, CAVILAM is a true cultural melting pot. It takes in students of over 110 nationalities and offers a range of accommodation options.

T he International School, founded by the Michelin group, welcomes children of 15 different nationalities, from primary level to sixth form. Teaching is conducted in both French and English.

The Advanced College of Commerce in Clermont-Ferrand is developing combined French/overseas diplomas. On its specialised Masters courses, it takes in students of 15 different nationalities. The College has recently been awarded a certificate of excellence acknowledging its rank amongst the best management schools in the world.

The CERDI
Clermont-Ferrand has a Centre for the Study and Research in International Development (CERDI), which works in close collaboration with the principal French and International development bodies.
