BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT
The Auvergne region has created specially adapted business parks in order to ensure a suitable environment for its businesses, with the official bodies active in supporting these projects.
Thus five 'bio-parks' are the base for the agri-food industries:

The Haute-Auvergne Bio-Park, in Aurillac (in the Cantal), specialising in the dairy industry and with a AOC cheese-making cluster,
> The Gannat Naturopôle, in the Allier, which groups together companies making vegetable based products,
>
AGRO’3 in Moulins, in the Allier,
> The Clermont-Limagne Bio-Park, in the Puy-de-Dôme, whose expertise extends beyond the agri-food industry into the technologies associated with living organisms,
> The Vichy-Hauterive Bio-Park, in the Allier, which offers an infrastructure for « health-based » agri-food businesses.
> The URIAA (Auvergne agri-food industries group) provides support and expertise to the companies in this sector.
